IBEC – Alba Herrero Gómez

Ms. Alba Herrero holds a BSc in Biochemistry (Georgian Court University, 2019) and a MSc in Biotechnology (College of Staten Island, 2020). In 2020 she joined IBEC and the BLOC project as a research assistant and after some months she started a PhD. Throughout her training she has experience in analytical chemistry and instrumentation as well as cell culturing and microscopy. Her background and previous research experience in multidisciplinary fields will be an asset in the project where she will maintain and asses viability of the lab-on-a-chip as well as aid in metabolic data interpretation from NMR spectra.
